Mrs. Hardy is a First Grade GTE teacher.  She began her teaching career in 1997 at Perry Elementary School teaching Third Grade after graduating from Georgia College.  She has a master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Gifted Endorsement, and has been teaching at Kings Chapel Elementary since 2008.  Mrs. Hardy especially enjoys teaching First Graders and the amazing amount of growth the children display at this age.  Her favorite time of the school day is during Interactive Read Aloud.  The classroom is filled with such positive energy as she and the children share a great book.

Mrs. Hardy is married to Perry native, Brett Hardy, a retiree of the Houston County School System.  They have been married for 26 years and are blessed with three talented children: Eve, Lydia, and Hayden.  Eve is a recent Georgia Tech graduate working as a bid manager for NCR Corporation in Atlanta.  Lydia is studying marketing at The University of Georgia, and Hayden is a Junior at The Westfield School.  All three of the Hardy children went through Kings Chapel Elementary.  What a wonderful foundation!
