Welcome

The mission of the Media Center is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of information and technology, empowering them to be critical thinkers and life-long readers and learners.

As a library media specialist, I want our students and staff to know how to find credible information from online and print sources and be able to properly give credit to those sources. I want our students to be confident conducting independent research, making them more prepared for middle and high school. I want students to be comfortable in the media center browsing for books, looking for information, or just taking a quiet break. I want students to know that what they are reading is important to me and I enjoy talking with them about books. The media center should be the heart of the school, the place where students become life-long readers and learners.
