I have been an employee of the Houston County School System since August of 1996. My first two years were spent teaching at Perry Middle School. In 1998, I began teaching at Kings Chapel Elementary and have enjoyed teaching here over the many years.

I grew up in Warner Robins and graduated from Northside High School. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Georgia Southwestern and my Master's Degree from Georgia College and State University.

My husband, Joe, is also an employee of the Houston County Board of Education, and my son, Richard, is a 12th grader at Perry High School.
