Hello, my name is Mary Gomez and I am a 3rd grade teacher. I graduated with my Masters of Elementary Education from Georgia Southern in 2014. I have learned that a child can learn anything, with a gentle hand, a little love & a support team at home. My favorite thing about teaching is finding the gaps in their students understanding and watching those "light bulb moments" with my students. My desire is not only to teach the current school year, but I long to nurture a heart for learning that remains for life. My goal for every student is to grow in knowledge and grace, to become advocates for their learning, to broaden their problem solving skills and to build a learning toolbox that will move with them for life.
