Mrs. Barnes graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She also has received a Masters degree in Mathematics and Reading for Early Childhood, as well as a Specialist degree in Early Childhood Curriculum. She has been teaching for 18 years, 10 of which have been at Kings Chapel Elementary. Mrs. Barnes is married and has two daughters, Bailey and Blake. She looks forward to coming to school each day to see the faces of her students and gets excited about learning new things along with them. “Whatever you do, do it well.”- Walt Disney
