Mrs. Deanna McElheny started her teaching career in 2000 after graduating from Wesleyan College. She later earned a Master's degree in Elementary Education and two Education Specialist degrees in both Elementary Education and Educational Leadership.  Mrs. McElheny has taught in the classroom for 17 years and spent 7 years serving the Houston County School District as a system literacy coach. She has taught Pre-K, first grade, and second grade as well as supported literacy instruction in K-2 classrooms. In her classroom, she fosters a love for learning and helps students become problem solvers.
