Bio

I am proud to be a product of the Houston County School System! After graduating from Perry High School, I went to Georgia College and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Although I obtained my degree, I did not become a teacher right away. I was fortunate enough to be a stay-at-home mom to my 3 girls. In the fall of 2006, I became a Kindergarten Paraprofessional at KCES. And now I am in the classroom as a First Grade teacher, a job that I truly love!!!

I have been married to my amazing husband, George, for 24 years. Our greatest accomplishments are our 4 wonderful children.  Our oldest, Lizzi attends the University of Arkansas and is working on her Masters in Food Science.  Our middle daughter, Mary Grace will be a junior at the University of Mississippi.  She is majoring in Integrated Marketing Communications. Our youngest daughter, Luci will be a freshman at West Virginia University.  She is majoring in Forensic Chemistry. And the baby of the family is also the only boy.  Rollins will be in the 6th grade at Perry Middle School.

I feel very fortunate to be able to work in a place that I love.  You can walk into our school at any given time and see lots of learning, socialization, and fun!  I am very passionate about my classroom babies and I look forward to each and every day in our room!
