About Me!
Hello and welcome to my second graders and families! I can't wait to kick off this school year with you!
I am your teacher and coach Mrs. Manfre.
I am so excited for this year to begin so that I can get to know each of you!
This will be my fifth year teaching and I am thrilled to be a part of the KCES family! I graduated from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) with my bachelors degree in elementary education in 2019; and I received my masters degree in special education in 2020. I also just completed my specialist degree from Georgia Southwestern University.
Shortly after marrying my husband in May of 2020, I left our home state of Florida and joined him here at our home in Houston County. We have a dog, a cat, and welcomed a sweet baby boy in December. Together we like to be outside with the dog, play frisbee in our backyard, fish on our boat or sit on the beach.
In our classroom it is okay to fail and make mistakes; this is how we become stronger learners. In our classroom, we very quickly become a family that laughs with one each other, succeeds and fails together, and cheers one another on. I want my students to feel confident and loved. Together we will learn what it means to stick together and support our peers. It is my hope that my second graders will leave my classroom a stronger learner, community member, and friend.
