As a product of the Houston County School system I am thrilled to begin my teaching career at Kings Chapel Elementary. Upon graduating from Perry High School in 2013 I began my undergraduate degree at Middle Georgia State University. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education this past May. I am currently working towards the completion of my Reading Endorsement and intend to pursue my Master's Degree summer of 2019.
I firmly believe I was called to be an educator. I am excited to embrace every new adventure it entails. As an educator I will strive to provide each child with the appropriate tools they need to be successful. I have a large family including 6 siblings, 3 nieces, and 8 nephews. Coming from a large family and personally witnessing so many children go through school, I value the importance of meeting children where they are. I understand on a personal level that we are all so very different and it's a beautiful thing!
In my free time I enjoy reading any John Grisham book, watching everything Food Network will play, and obsessing over Chip and Joanna Gaines. If I'm not at home with my family you can find me at church serving in our children's department or on a road trip to see some place new. I’m thankful for the opportunity to call KCES my new home away from home. GO COUGARS!
