I received my Early Childhood degree in 1995 from Georgia Southwestern. In 2006, I earned my master’s degree in Reading and Writing Instruction from Lesley University.

My teaching career actually began in 1995 at Kings Chapel Elementary where I taught Pre-Kindergarten for four years. When Perry Primary opened in 1999, I was given the opportunity to teach first grade. I later transferred to Hilltop Elementary and taught first, third, and fifth grade. While at HES, I received my Gifted Endorsement in 2012, and I have enjoyed these past few years teaching 5th grade GTE classes.

I am proud to call Perry my hometown.  I have been happily married to Scott Kinnas for 22 years! He works as an appraiser for a company in Warner Robins. We have one son, Kamden, who attends Perry Hight School. I’m so blessed to have the chance to return to KCES. It feels like I have come back home to work in the most perfect place in Houston County! I look forward to learning together with the students, parents, and staff at KCES! Go Cougars!!!
